I love drawing because I get so much out of it! It helps me understand my surroundings better and improves my concentration skills at school too. It teaches me how things work as well as how they look (and sometimes smell). And when I'm done with my drawings, it reminds me what's important—that life is short and precious and that I should live each day to the fullest!

I love working with people who are passionate about their work. When I was in school, I was really inspired by the teacher who was so passionate about helping students learn to draw. She would take every single student aside and make sure we understood how to draw the human form so well that when we left our classes, we felt like we had a new skill set under our belts. She wasn't just teaching us how to draw; she was teaching us how to communicate our ideas through the magical medium of drawing.
I think that's what it means to be an artist: someone who can communicate their ideas clearly and effectively—even if they're not always able to articulate them in words. The best artists are able to do this because they have developed a unique voice that allows them to express themselves in a way that is uniquely theirs, even if it's not entirely comprehensible at first glance by others who don't share their same perspective or experiences (like you!).
