The Anatomy of Tony Snail

A gastropod mollusc or animal with a body separated into two main parts: the head and the foot is what the Tony Snail is. Two pairs of tentacles are present on the Tony Snail's head, one pair of which is utilised for detecting its surroundings and the other pair for consuming food. The Tony Snail has a big, strong foot that it employs for crawling and for movement.

The shell of the Tony Snail is one of its most distinguishing characteristics. The body of the Tony Snail is encased in a tough, protective shell. It is produced by specialised cells in the body of the snail and is composed of calcium carbonate. The shell also serves as camouflage and a measure of defence from predators.
